Hibs blow winnning chance despite Boyle's assist
Australia's Martin Boyle provided the assist for a stunning goal from Joe Newell but Hibernian had to settle for a point after Kilmarnock converted a stoppage-time penalty to level their Scottish Premiership clash 1-1.
Neither side has taken a win after four matches of the new campaign, but Hibs were moments away from doing so against the league's bottom club before Marvin Ekpiteta collided clumsily with Kilmarnock's Bruce Anderson just inside the box with the game having moved into stoppage-time.
Anderson stepped up himself to send Hibs keeper Josef Bursik the wrong way and pinch a vital point for the hosts that didn't lift them off the bottom, but provided some much needed cheer heading into the international break.
