The 32 year-old, who has spent the last two seasons at Dutch club AZ, will fly to Italy early in the week to complete a medical with the Giallorossi, per reports on Monday. 

The Socceroos captain will have an option to extend his stay in the Italian top flight at what will be his 10th club since bursting onto the scene under Graham Arnold at Central Coast Mariners in 2010.
