Socceroos star Ryan set to sign with Serie A giant Roma
Australia goal-keeper Mat Ryan is reportedly on the cusp of a one-year deal with Serie A giant Roma, with an option for two more.
The 32 year-old, who has spent the last two seasons at Dutch club AZ, will fly to Italy early in the week to complete a medical with the Giallorossi, per reports on Monday.
The Socceroos captain will have an option to extend his stay in the Italian top flight at what will be his 10th club since bursting onto the scene under Graham Arnold at Central Coast Mariners in 2010.
