Empoli stays unbeaten after Fiorentina stalemate
Nothing could separate Empoli and Fiorentina as they played out a goalless draw in Serie A, the result maintaining Empoli's unbeaten start to the season.
Roberto D'Aversa's side sits sixth on the table with 10 points, three points off leader Napoli having won two and drawn four of its opening six matches.
Fiorentina came into the match off the back of its first victory of the season against Lazio last week, but despite having more attempts, could not break the deadlock and stays just outside the top 10 in 11th on seven points.
