Ross County hammers Raith Rovers to seal survival
Ross County won the Scottish Premiership play-off final for a second successive season, defeating Raith Rovers 4-0 at home in the second leg to complete a 6-1 aggregate victory.
Top scorer Simon Murray put the Staggies ahead in the 19th minute with a diving header before Jordan White made it 2-0 just minutes after the break with a header of his own from a corner.
Murray put the hosts further ahead with a rocket of a finish with 15 minutes to go and when substitute Brandon Khela blasted hom his first goal for the club from the edge of the box in the 86th minute, it was all over for Rovers, which will remain in the Scottish Championship for at least another season while Country remains in the top flight.
