Lens puts focus on top five after thumping Lyon
Lens is eyeing a spot in Europe next season after claiming a dominant 3-0 win over Lyon in Ligue 1.
Lens moved to within a point of Nice in fifth spot, Nice having blown a lead to lose 2-1 against Toulouse, which leap-frogged Lyon into 10th as a result.
Florian Sotoca got things started for Lens with an opening goal two minutes before the break before Elye Wahi made it 2-0 from the penalty spot in the 53rd minute.
Kevin Danso added more gloss to the scoreline three minutes from time after Lyon had been reduced to 10 men when Ainsley Maitland-Niles was sent off.
