Sevilla downs Betis to take derby bragging rights
Dodi Lukebakio scored from the spot to hand Sevilla a 1-0 derby victory over Real Betis in LaLiga, despite finishing the game with 10 men.
The Belgian winger netted in the 50th minute after an inadvertent handball by Diego Llorente as he jumped to clear a ball into the box.
Lukebakio could have made it two late in the game, but was denied by Betis goalkeeper Rui Silva.
Tanguy Nianzou was shown a second yellow card in the final minute of the match and a subsequent red, meaning he'll miss Sevilla's next match.
Victory, Sevilla's third this term, lifted it to 12th on the table with 12 points while Betis, also on 12 points with three wins, sits 10th with a narrowly better goal difference.
