Las Palmas and Sevilla share the spoils
Las Palmas and Sevilla could not be separated as the two sides opened their LaLiga campaigns with a 2-2 draw in Gran Canaria.
Both sides netted own goals, the first coming when Alex Suarez put through his own net to give Sevilla the lead on 25 minutes, but Tanguy Nianzou returned the favour to make things level at half-time.
Juanlu Sanchez edged Sevilla in front just after the hour mark, but it was Sandro Ramirez that rescued a point for the home side, coming off the bench to score on 71 minutes and earn his side a share of the points.
