PSG survives massive scare at fifth-tier Espaly
Paris Saint-Germain almost suffered what might have been the biggest upset in Coupe de France history as plucky fifth-tier Espaly pushed it all the way but ultimately lost 4-2.
But the scoreline barely told the story of the match after Espaly went ahead in the third minute through Kevis Gjeci and held on until the 37th minute when Warren Zaire-Emery equalised to level matters before the break.
PSG went ahead when Desire Doue scored on 67 minutes, but Espaly roared back four miutes later to level the scores again and pushed for a winner itself against the Ligue 1 leader.
But Bradley Barcola was on hand to put PSG in front two minutes from time, and an unfortunate penalty in the second minute of stoppage-time allowed Goncalo Ramos to add gloss to the scoreline from the spot and put PSG into the Round of 16.
