It was a day of celebration for Leicester City as their return to the Premier League was confirmed after Leeds United's 4-0 loss to Queens Park Rangers.
Having started the season in flying form, it had looked as if the Foxes would waltz to promotion in the Premier League. But a torrid run of form, seeing Vincenzo Maresca's men win only one out of six games saw Leeds and Ipswich close the gap.
However, with financial worries hanging over them with failure, the Foxes have confirmed their return to the top flight.
The race for automatic promotion now comes down to Leeds United, Ipswich Town and Southampton. Though the Saints would need a remarkable set of results to move into the top two.
Leicester City on the other hand can now finish their season without the pressure of promotion worries.
They will now go on to face Preston North End away from home, before celebrating promotion in front of their fans against Blackburn Rovers at the King Power Stadium.
