Wobbling Dortmund produces stirring comeback
Borussia Dortmund came back from 2-0 down to claim all three points against Borussia Moenchengladbach with a 4-2 victory to keep it inside the top four of the Bundesliga.
The home fans were in shock at Signal Iduna Park as the visitors stormed into a two-goal lead inside the first half an hour.
But Marcel Sabitzer and Niclas Fullkrug scored within two minutes of each other to rest things for the hosts on the half-hour, and 19-year-old Englishman Jamire Bynoe-Gittens had them in front just prior to the break to further dent Gladbach's hopes with his first goal of the season.
Marco Reus might have made it four but for a sharp stop from Moritz Nicolas, and indeed it stayed 3-2 for much of the second half before Donyell Malen broke his long goal drought to add some gloss to the scoreline deep into stoppage-time.
