Australia's Jackson Irvine led St Pauli to its first win of the Bundesliga season, an emphatic 3-0 away triumph at Freiburg.
The Boys in Brown arrived with just won point from a difficult start to life in the top tier, but showed no fear in the Black Forest and were ruthless when the chances came their way.
Elias Saad scored two, netting his first in the 12th minute and a second in the 72nd, punctuated by a strike from Oladapo Afolayan to seal all three points and inject a much-needed boost of confidence into the side.
