Early goals enough to seal victory for Union
Two goals inside the first six minutes were enough for Union Berlin to claim a 2-1 victory over Hoffenheim, despite the visitors clawing a goal back late in the match.
Union sits fourth on the Bundesliga table as a result, with two wins from four matches, and in truth the result was a fair one given the balance of play.
Hoffenheim was almost immediately on the ropes when Tom Rothe scored Union's opener four minutes in. Just two minutes later, Wooyeong Jeong doubled the lead.
Marius Bulter pulled one back for Hoffenheim on 67 minutes, but the visitors never showed enough to get back in the game and suffered a third defeat this season to leave them just one place above the bottom three.
