These are the Stadiums for the 2025 Club World Cup in the U.S.
New Jersey's MetLife Stadium and Red Bull Arena, Miami's Hard Rock Stadium, Pasadena's Rose Bowl and Atlanta's Mercedes Benz Stadium are on the list of stadiums that will host the first edition of the FIFA Club World Cup in 2025, announced in New York.
Seattle's Lumen Field, Orlando's Camping World Stadium and Inter&Co Stadium, Charlotte's Bank of America Stadium, Cincinnati's TQL Stadium, Washington DC's Audi Field, Nashville's GEODIS Park and Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field complete the list of 12 venues for the new Club World Cup, which will be played from June 15 to July 13 with 32 teams, with a particular focus on the Eastern United States.
In the presence of its president, the Swiss Gianni Infantino, FIFA announced the venues for the tournament at an event organized during the Global Citizen Festival, a charity concert that, through celebrities and activists, seeks to demand measures against extreme poverty from world leaders on the margins of the UN General Assembly.
The United States will also host the Gold Cup during the same period, with venues in the Midwest and West of the country. The first edition of the new FIFA Club World Cup will be played from June 15 to July 13, 2025, with the participation of 32 teams from five continents. Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid are the Spanish teams that have qualified for the tournament, in which Barcelona will not take part.
Other participants include Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint Germain, Juventus, Inter Milan, River Plate, Monterrey and Pachuca. The United States has already secured the presence of Seattle Sounders in the Club World Cup, as the winners of the 2022 CONCACAF Champions League.
As the host country, the United States will be able to include one more team in the new tournament by invitation. There has been speculation for months about the criteria that will be used to choose the last U.S. representative, with Leo Messi's Inter Miami, the 2023 Leagues Cup champion, in the spotlight. FIFA is in charge of deciding to whom the place goes and it is possible that the last ticket will be given to the local league champion, and not to the Leagues Cup champion, according to sources close to MLS.
