Postecoglou claims Tottenham has a 'leak'
Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou is determined to find the mole within his camp in the lead-up to a trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League this weekend.
Speaking the morning after a 1-1 draw at home to Eintracht Frankfurt in the UEFA Europa League quarter-final first leg, Postecoglou was convinced that his side's efforts were being undermined.
"There is no doubt we've got a leak inside the club. Someone continues to leak out information, and they have all year," he said.
"I don't know why as it just makes our job even more difficult. We've narrowed it down, I've got a fair idea where it's coming from. We will deal with it. You'd like to think that everyone within our camp is working with us rather than against us."
Postecoglou is hoping for a performance at Molineux, but was also understanding that the Frankfurt game had taken a physical toll on his players.
"It was a big physical toll last night. It's a big game [against Wolves] and a big performance is needed, so having some fresh legs will help that. Fair to make some changes," he said.
"They [Wolves] are a good side, and they have stabilised in recent weeks. It was a bit dicey for them when Vitor Pereira took over, but they have some real talent in that team. It will be a good challenge for us."
Wolves head coach Vitor Pereira, meanwhile, has confirmed that Matheus Cunha will not come straight back into the starting XI having served his four-game suspension for violent conduct.
"What is fair? It's fair to keep going with the same team. That is my opinion. This is football, this is commitment, leadership. Matheus will come to help us; he understands, I had a conversation with him, but I will play the same team," he said.
"Tactically, when we are attacking we are doing different movements. I am asking different things than when I started. When you start to put more and more things on the system, the system will show you that we can do a lot of things differently.
"We are trying to improve our style of play, especially with the ball."
Despite going 12 points clear of the bottom three with a victory away to Ipswich Town last weekend, Pereira confirmed that he will be taking no chances until safety is confirmed mathematically.
"If you relax it's a big mistake. It's my responsibility to not allow them to relax because the next game will be very hard for us," he said.
